Anniversary Gift

I thought of buying myself a nice gift for our anniversary. I know hubby doesn't have the time to buy me gifts and he knows that I am a little bit picky on things that I like, so I bought myself some Coach purses. They were on sale. I saved like 60 % on all three that I bought. But it was still expensive. I hope David won't kill me if he read this blog. I love you babe! Anyway, I am happy :) FYI, I am not posting this because I am bragging okay. I just want to share what I got for my anniversary :) I have a coin purse, a sling bag and a big purse. I am hoping to buy an LV but that can happen later since I have a big vacation coming up soon. I need to save a lot of moolah for that! I guess this one is like a celebratory gift for myself because I signed up another contract recently.

Thanks to my loving husband for being so generous and kind. I love you todong todo!

I can't keep a secret

You see that countdown on my blog's right sidebar? Well, that's how many days I am counting till I step on Philippine soil. Yes. I am going home to Davao this coming December. David will come with me and we are going to stay for a month. I am really excited because for the last 4 years that I have been here in America, this will be my very first Christmas back home :)

As early as May, I am buying pasalubong. I want to make sure that I have enough for everybody. And the reason being that I am buying early is because I have so many stuff to send home and I want to send it through forex. And nowadays forex takes about 6 weeks when you have international balikbayan box ship to PI. So by October, I need to have these boxes I have here shipped to PI so It'll get there before I arrive.

Whew! Few days from now, its going to be June! and then July and August etc.. I just can't wait to go home. David has been daydreaming on what he's going to do once he get to Davao. He's first request is that we should go to ChowKing and get their Halo-Halo. Funny, how he would always remember the time when him and I went to chowking to quench our thirst. It was like 100 degrees F in Davao that time when we went to get our passport pictures taken. It was like 12noon and we were both hungry and thirsty. Chowking was just few buildings away from where we had our picture taken. This experience has been told many times to friends and acquaintances. So if you meet us, don't be surprised that David will tell you this. And also when we arrive there in Davao, he wants to have plentiful of sliced cold sweet mango.

Sounds like we are both excited. Its been almost five years for David since his second visit to PI. And for me would be three years since my first vacation to PI.

On hiatus..

For just a couple of days. Hubby and I will be spending mother's day at my in law's sister's house. And we will try to go to Yosemite :) And we will gamble a little bit at Chuckchansi Casino!

Wow! Sexy...

How I wish I am as sexy as her. Now that I've gained a little bit of weight, I can't show off my tummy :( I'm just too darn fat! First day at Yahoo

Lat night wasn't easy. Though everything went well as planned but with all the excitement and nervousness, we can't seem to relax ourselves. I gave David an Excedrin PM to help him go to sleep last night. It helped a bit. He fell asleep and slept for an hour and got up. He said that his tummy was not feeling good. He was so nervous, thus, giving him upset stomach. Poor thing. Anyway, on the other hand, I myself can't get a good sleep. I was excited and can't wait till I get up and prepare his breakfast and lunch. This is my first time to wake up early in the morning to prepare hubby's lunch so I just want everything packed and ready to go. I want my husband ready for his new job and get there in time and packed with good food!Lol

Mochi!!!

Oh my gosh! I didn't know how great this pastry! A friend of mine introduced Mochi to me about a year ago. I decided not to try it because it looks weird. Okay, Mochi is an Japanese ice cream. Its like a stuffed ice cream. The coating is a sweet rice flour.

The only reason that I finally bought and tried it is because I went to Trader Joe's to by Edamame. I saw this at the frozen section and was contemplating whether to get one or not. Oh well, I thought if I don't like then feed it to the dogs!Lol

As you can see in the picture that I had only two left. As I am finishing this entry, I am also finishing the last piece. Try nyo to masarap!
