49ers Draft 2008

David and I spent our Satuday afternoon at the Santa Clara training grounds for the San Francisco 49ers. We went there to check out the place. It was fine. Lots of people came and there were food and drinks which is good. Old players from way back then were at one booth signing autographs. They also had a local AM radio station that were interviewing players and the coach (Mike Nolan). Also the cheerleaders were there too. The 49ers Gold rush 2008 are not that pretty. Most of them were kind of asians. Not that asians aren't pretty but from the last year I went, the girls were beautiful!



We didn't really stayed long at the place because it was quite hot! Weather was great but staying in one place without a shade in the middle of the afternoon, well, not good! Mapaig kaya akong fez noh!Lol

Before we left, we had to go to the players locker room. A five minute tour.

Kissable..not!

I tried one of the lipstick that I had bought yesterday. I like this one shade that I tried because it is really red and makes my lips sexy hahaha. The pic doesn't really show how red it is but in real life its very red. I look like a prosti!hahaha. Maybe I will just hide it with another shade or colored lipgloss. I love make up! Halata man diba? I just love those girly colors and fun stuff for the face. I lost my other blush on so I am off to the store tomorrow again and buy one :) Its inexpensive anyway so no worry if I lost it! Pardon my ugly mug. I just thought I'd share this pic. Anyway, I will make this entry a fun entry or a meme.

Shopping itch :)

I was trying so hard not to shop for anything this month (except for food) because I wanted to save some money because of some reason (will tell you about that reason later on). But this afternoon I just had enough of trying hard not to shop.

I went to payless shoe store and bought myself a pair of tsinelas - flip flops - slippers - thongs - slippers - whatever you call it!Lol. I was tempted to buy a pair of American Eagle ballet shoes but I had to hold myself because I just got two ballet shoes of the same kind last month! Hihihi!

Though I have full responsibility of our finances and I handle all of our moolah and hubby has given me 100% authority with everything but I don't want him to think that all I do is shop! Lol.

So I went and shopped at Target. They have some pretty stuff there. I mostly like their Mossimo shirts and blouses. I bought two tank tops and two blouses.

I also bought three shades of lipstick. They were on sale!!! I bought three..Panic buying ulit? Lol. Nope, I'm not panic buying. It's just that they were on sale and it was a good deal. I bought mascara too because I had lost my other one and a dark eyebrow liner.

After all said and done, my shopping itch is gone. I feel light and happy. And I wish David would miss reading this one :)
I've been a good girl lately so I deserve some little treat.

Onion transformation

I haven't been cooking for awhile lately. No, not that I don't like cooking but I just don't feel like making food from scratch. David and I have been dependent on fast food (to go food) for some time now. Its not healthy I know. That's why David and I are off to the grocery tomorrow :)

Since we are talking about grocery. I bought like 2 lbs of yellow onions like a month ago. I almost used them all except I had one left in the fridge. So I took that one out and used some of it for my sauted shrimp. I totally forgot to put the used onion in the fridge and just left it on the counter top in a plate.

Remember, I haven't been cooking for the last three weeks so just imagine how long that onion has been out in the open. I know, I'm a total slob! hahaha. Who cares!

Transformation.
This is what the onion looked like after being on the counter for three weeks in my kitchen! Looks like it has grown into something else lol!
Seeing this in my kitchen makes me want to do gardening and plant vegetables. Like I know how to plant. As far as planting is concerned, the only plant that I successfully planted was a tomato. I bought some rotten tomatoes and squeezed the seeds out and thrown the seeds on the side of our fence. It grew by itself without me watering it! Great :)
I don't know though if I can ambitious enough to plant some veggies.
We will see!

Squirrel on the fence

David and I were driving along Tennant Station two days ago. I saw this squirrel on top of a fenced empty lot. We have no idea what this creature is up to. Maybe the squirrel is stuck or something. We don't know. I was quick to take a picture of him lol!
Poor thing could be hurt and needs help :(

Jet - driving

David and I were doing some errands this morning and I told him that today I will be driving. Hubby was like " No questions asked!" We went to the office first to get our taxes mailed out. We almost got into a fight. Blame David for that!! Lol. Well, we thought we'd mail the tax forms from our office, I later found out after sorting out the papers in the office that we don't have long envelopes anymore and that they were at home! Bummer!Lol. David was pissed!hahaha. I was pissed too! Can't be mad at me if I left it at home. I was relieved when I found some short envelopes stacked in the bottom of my huge office table :)

Anyway, after dealing with the tax papers, we went to the bank and deposited some money in our checking account. We are almost down to zero funds lol! Tomorrow is payday so I'm going nuts! I have to pay so many bills! Its never ending waah!! After going to the bank we went to the Post Office and mailed those tax papers.

Every time we have good things happening to us, we always celebrate it with a nice meal. Instead of going to subway and getting a footlong sandwich, we went to Chilli's instead :) I ordered the Tripple Dipper and hubby ordered those tiny burger. He later on got sick..food poison I guess.

I am still the one driving us around.

After eating at Chilli's, we went to Circuit City to find Dave's Sirius radio antenna which he wants so badly. Unfortunately, the store doesn't have it. We have to order it from Sirius online. Bummer. But I got the chance to look for a new camera at the store. Nothing fancy me with the ones they have on display. I think I need to go visit the Sony store at the outlets. I'm a Sony girl anyway so, it would be hard for me to switch to different brand! Naks!hahaha

We didn't find the antenna at Circuit City so we decided to go home. While I was driving though, hubby and I talked about other drivers not paying attention to the road. When we went to the bank, I had to make a left turn in a two way street. On the exit left side of the parking lot where I was suppose to go, there's this driver that doesn't know where he's going. He didn't signal or anything. I was furious because I can't be able to make the turn until that guy knows where he's going. When he knew I was signaling to make a left turn he then made a right and had me almost missed my turn. Long story short, David noticed that when I drive, I seemed to speed up when approaching a red light or a stop sign. I said what?! What are you talking about? I don't speed up!Lol. He then told me that its not really bad but its not how he would drive. He was okay with my driving. He even said that he feels comfortable and safe unlike before that I don't pay much attention to the road like not turning my head when I change lanes!Lol.

Hubby even praised me that I am a good driver. I always look around to my surroundings and I always assume situations that can save my life if something do really happen.

So today, I was graded. So overall, Jet is a good driver. But have to slow down when approaching stop sign and a red light. I can work on that!

I used my phone to take picture of the purse I got from my friend. I still can't find my camera :( I feel so useless without it huhuhu!! My fault though, I should have been more careful with my things. I just can't keep them in one place. David will find it for me soon. But if I can't find it then Bigbear will have to buy me a new one!

These cameras are not cheap you know! I have to buy new memory sticks!hhmmp!

Another loot!

A friend of mine was in Europe for three weeks last month. Of course, my friend bought some pasalubong for everyone from Europe. So we met at her sister's house yesterday. Actually, my friend had called me earlier if I were free to play mahjong in the afternoon. I came to her sister's house (which is a friend of mine too) and we played mahjong. Yesterday was my lucky day I guess. I won $30!!! Yippee :) Now I have money for starbucks :) Anyway, my friend handed me a nice brown colored purse. Its really nice! I likey so much :) I would have posted a picture here but I can't seem to find my camera. Oh well.
