Happy New Year

Whew! Another year has gone by so quickly for all of us. It feels like to me that I was just celebrating my 2006 Christmas and happy to know that my sister has given birth to a baby girl. Time do fly so fast nowadays! But all these said and done, I am proud to say that my family and I are so blessed this year.

I have so many things to say thank you for the 2007 so I will start before my mind goes blank!Lol.

-I thank the Lord for everything that he has given upon me. Good health for my family and friends, keeping us all safe and always listening to our prayers.

- My wonderful husband. David has been more than generous and understanding to me. He has been always there to protect me. He has always been there to guide me with the challenges that I have gone through. I love you Bigbear.

- My family back home. I am so thankful that they are in good health. My Papa who went for a surgery few months back because he had this kidney stone that is blocking his urinary track. I am thankful that his surgery went well. My Mom that is sometimes more than a handful than my nephew, she has been doing great after her last stroke last 2006. Please always be careful Mama and eat healthy. I want to say thank you to my sister that has been there for my parents. She has taken care of my Mom and Dad for me. I couldn't thank you and Kuya Rolan enough for taking care of our parents. And thank you for raising such beautiful kids. I love you all!

- I wanted to say thank you to DMV! For letting me pass my driving test. Its really a big deal for me because it had open so many avenues for me. I can do so much things right now and it has relieved my husband from driving me around to appointments and on call job that I have.

- Having my own business has really helped David and I financially. I am so blessed to have this company. I know I haven't been able to get out there and market a lot but the Lord has been so generous that he always provide something for me. I am truly blessed. And I will work on the blessing that I have and make it grow bigger! It will be a great 2008 for me I hope!

- And all the friends I have here in town. Thank you so much. For all the workers that worked for me. They helped me grow and I provided them a great job. It feels great to help :)

- And lastly, for all the bloggers who frequently visits my three blogs. I thank you all so much. Thanks to my newly found online friends! God bless you all!

- I have to mention this. I can't help it. To Dauphine, thank you Dauph for listening and for answering all my questions about PPP. You are truly a great friend. And so patient as well. I love you friend!

- Lastly, Ana Banana. You are always my no. 1 buddy here. You know what I have been through. And I wanted to say thank you for always being for me. For listening and for helping me out. Thank you for cheering me up when I felt so down. You know what it is!lol. I love you Banana!


Its always a tradition in our family to have 13 round and smooth fruit in our altar next to our holy infant upstairs (picture above). From what I understand is that this symbolizes luck and prosperity. So I wanted to share this to everyone. From my house to yours!

Medical Assistant Training Schools

Getting a job is hard to find. Some people would go through many hardships before they even have a dream job. But wouldn't it be nice if you find the right job that you have been wanting to do and not just a job so you could pay bills?

In this modern time, the health care field is growing tremendously high. For one thing is that the baby boomer are getting older. The need for health care professionals are overflowing. This means that more jobs should be fill in.

I for one is in the health care business. I am looking forward to learn more knowledge about the health care system. It will be a good experience for me to be working in this field because I will be exposed to things that I should learn.

When my husband and I go to our doctor appointment, I have always wanted to ask the medical assistants that worked there on what classes and trainings that they have went to because I wanted to learn. As far as I know, its a great job to have. Though the responsibility is quite challenging but that's what I want.

So I have researched about acquiring a medical assistant certification. Him and the turkey

My bigbear has been very great at helping me prepare for the party. We had the carpet cleaner last Saturday to steam the carpet. My husband was nice enough to move some stuff out of the way and still he is nice enough to do some laundry for me.

Though this is causing some problems for my Papi. Some of you may not know but my husband had 5 surgeries on his knees. Three on the right knee and two on the left. And we may have an upcoming surgery next year for the left knee to even things out..lol!

I should have had the carpet cleaner to move the things away but it would have taken so much time and I will have to pay extra for that which I did in some way because David is in pain right now. Too much lifting for him can cause inflammation on his knees. Torn Meniscus that he has had for so many years.

But the pain on his left knee didn't stop him from helping me prepare for tomorrow's party. I marinated the two turkeys I got from Walmart (make sure to get butterball brand because they are the best) last Saturday. And Papi injected some marinate on each turkey. I don't know how to do it so I had him do it for me :)

Our kitchen has been a mess for awhile but it'll be clean later right after I'm done cooking. I still have some cooking to do..yikes! No rest for the wicked they say!lol

Can't get enough!

This year's Christmas is the busiest I have been. I have been preparing for everything since Thanksgiving. As you all know that this season is the time for giving and that means gift giving. I had to go to many stores to get the gifts I needed. And it wasn't as fun as it should be. I was hopping from one store to the other and not to mention that the weather here is acting up. I don't like doing my shopping in cold weather. Its cold!

One catch about Christmas is that I spend so much money on buying presents, hosting a party and all those nice things. I only realized it later when I see my bills. I just can't believe it in one month period I could spend so much money. It is so tempting to max out yourcredit cards but I know its not the best way to do it. If only I could get a secured loans, intended only for this occasion.

But all in all, I feel really great because I have accomplished so much this season. And the recipients of my presents should be happy as well or else I'm going to take back my presents. Oh I am just kidding.

Time to be productive :) How long will this last?

Since we are having a christmas party at our house this Christmas day, I have to clean up and tidy up the place. I still have the weekend to do all these chores. Oh boy, I know it won't be easy. But I have to or else David will ship me back to the Philippines because I am being so lazy and a slob..really!

David was warned by my mom, dad and sister that I am not the most house chore oriented kind of person because I don't really do a lot of things. Though I work hard for a living but when it comes to chores..leave me alone!hehehe

Anyhow, David didn't mind what my parents and sister had to say about my laziness. Poor thing said that he'll just deal with it! I love you babe.

It's about 12:30am my time right now and I am still up. I am multi-tasking though. While washing the clothes and waiting for the cycle to be over, I am here doing sponsored post. Next thing I will be doing after this entry is to fold some clothes. And finish up cleaning the sink and kitchen.

Hay! This is life..and I am loving every minute of it!

Christmas Shopping

David and I went to COSTCO early this morning to get some of my give away presents for my clients. I have to do this today because I won't be able to do all of these this weekend. It's crazy out there. There are so much shoppers finishing up their christmas shopping.

Being so nice

I had to fill in for one of my caregivers because she can't be able to come to work on time. She had this other job at the hotel and she can't be able to be at my client's home on the agreed schedule. Since I don't have anything to do on a Sunday night, I thought I can fill in for a couple of hours. And so I did. It was fun because my client's mother was there and we get to talking about their pasts and what not. I ended up driving my client's mom home because I don't feel safe for her to take OUTREACH. ( its like a taxi service for seniors and people with disability. But you only get to pay a fix amount like $3.50 both ways. So its kind of inexpensive) OUTREACH sometimes could take up an hour to get there to fetch you that's why I offered the poor lady a ride home.

It wasn't a bad drive because I pretty much know the way over to the old lady's house. Thanks to David for giving me the direction. I will give him a big credit on that one! We almost got a fight over it but I managed to calm down hehehe. I know, I'm always the silly girl!

Anyway, So for being nice I earned a friend. And a good contact for me to get clients because she lives in a retirement home where there's a lot of seniors that may need my help :)

All in all, my day was a good day. After driving the nice lady over to her house, I got home around 12:10am. I should be in bed at this hour but I gotta work and work.

So you all have a good night sleep and I will be typing away :)

Christmas at the Park

Last Friday we attended my hubby's Christmas party at the Fairmont San Jose. We stayed overnight at the hotel because David doesn't want to drive home after the party. It was nice of a treat for me and hubby to stay at the hotel because traffic is really bad. And not to mention that in downtown San Jose, they have this Christmas at the Park. It was too crowded. Its hard to find parking and such. We had to use valet parking so we can park our car in a safe place.

announces the opening of 350 km of trails

For more than 30 years, Lanaudière has been a snowmobiling capital!

Rawdon, November 30, 2007 – Mother Nature has been busy during the past week, covering the Lanaudière landscape with an average of 45 cm (18 inches) of snow and more in the northern part of the region. Snowmobile enthusiasts can now start their engines for a new season with 350 kilometres (161 miles) of trails open in northern Lanaudière.

These are the areas that are currently accessible, where conditions are good with new snow coverage:

• Mont-Tremblant National Park (start at Pimbina entrance)
• Certain areas in Saint-Zénon
• Certain areas in Saint-Michel-des-Saints

Rain, rain and rain...

Rain is pouring heavily here in Morgan Hill. It seems that I am lacking the energy to go out and do something. I guess its all about the weather huh. I have been up for hours now. My darling two poodles woke me up with a loud barking. I thought somebody break in in our house. It was just some cars passing by our house.
