Getting ready for halloween :)

Its 38 days to go before Halloween! I have been saving candies and chocolates for trick or treat. Here in Morgan Hill, we celebrate halloween in Downtown MH because its a fun way for us to market/advertise for our business. Last year, David and I went to participate in the Downtown Morhan Hill Halloween Trick or Treat. We had approximately 18 bags of chocolate and candies. In total of 2500 pieces. And there were like a couple thousand kids, parents, grandparents total who showed up in the event. We started giving away treats like 5pm and was finished handing out candies around 7pm. It was freezing cold but we had a great time. We will do it again this year. Hopefully we will be able to rent a small tent for David and I to sit down. And maybe we will have friends over to help us give away chocolate and candies.

I can't wait!!!

1. I don't like to be shhhed! Its not a sweet sound to my ears and I get pissed at all.

2. I like dipping my french fries into a milk shake..Its a girl thing..lol

3. I like fish sauce now for substitute to salt.

4. I have OCD (Obsessive-compulsive disorder). The most bad case that I have is when I am in the mall or grocery store and the floor is made out of tiles. I always make sure that I don't step on the lines and edges or else I have to get back where I came in. Its really bad! I'm trying to get rid it of it but Its really hard.

5. I buy shoes, purses and clothes with the same style but different color..hehehe :)

6. I drive with my stilettos on because its easier to step on the pedal!

A treasured gift..

My sister gave me this really beautiful cherub cross stitched that she promised me to have before I left to the US. It took me awhile to have it framed because it is kind of expensive here in the states. I had it framed from a very well known photographer that I know here in town and if you do need his service please do visit his site at www.customcreationsphoto.com. And here is the result. Its a little bit blurry since I took this photo with my phone. I will take another picture tomorrow with my real camera. This frame is suppose to be in our bedroom but hubby decided to put it in our office. We will put this on top of the fireplace..nice eh?

Okay, I wanna say thank you to my wonderful sister for this wonderful gift. Thanks for taking your time making this beautiful art. This is really much appreciated by David and I. Make more and we will sell it here. I already have a buyer!! luvs yah :)

That's my kind of weekend

I wanted to go to Macy's just for a change. Its been awhile that David and I really go to the mall and spend our day there just window shopping. I mean, I just want the both of us to get some fresh air or maybe do some unusual thing like maxing out our Macy's credit card for a day of shopping..you know things like that lol! Just kidding :) All I am saying is that David and I are so busy working and working and we don't even have time to have fun. Is cleaning the house fun? Nah, I don't think so. That's what we all call "house chores. And in my world its no fun at all unless you pay me for doing it...sure! I'd love to!Lol

Anyway, so last Saturday, David and I went to Macy's and shopped a little bit. We went to the mall hungry though. When we got inside the mall, I saw an ocean of nice shoes! I love shoes :) But I didn't have that vibe that I wanted a new pair of shoes. I am still saving for my ever first Manolo Blahnik shoes you know. Saw Sarah Jessica Parker on Sex and the City episode where she was wearing that nice stiletto sling back shoes..I just want one for myself hahaha! Okay back to the ocean of shoes then :) I wasn't really in the mood shopping on that very moment. I guess I was very hungry so I told David that we should eat first and then shop. He was like "Praise the gods of the shoes that my wife decided to eat first before shopping" I didn't realized that he was starving to death. Selfish me! My poor husband suffering for my greediness..lol

Right after we ate I had told David that we shopped for his stuff first and later for mine. We went to the shoes section. Got me hubby to pair of shoes. He decided to get Sketchers shoes since I'm into Sketchers he wants both of us to match lol. Later then we went to get him pants. My husband is 6"1 and kind of heavy on the weight there maybe 230lbs?Lol. It has been his long battle to find pants that would really fit him comfortably. Some jeans would fit on the waist line but very short in length. It would look like floods. We just recently find out that the best brand jeans that would have his size is good ol Levi's! Got him 3 pair of jeans and new belts.

As for me, I didn't get anything. I have so many shoes and purses and clothes. I will wait for Black Friday. And on that day, I will shop till I drop!lol

Bruises

I get bruises a week before my menstruation. I have asked my sister about this and she said that its pretty normal. She mentioned to me that she had before when she was my age. Its kind of annoying at times when I get these bruises because it does worry me. I would have like bruises on my knees, arms, thighs and my back. In my mind I think maybe I have Leukemia. Waahh knock on wood! And also, I am a bit clumsy and I do bang my knees on our table, chairs and everywhere sometimes that's one of the reason I get bruises.

Have you ladies experienced getting bruises before your menstruation comes? I have been to my OB GYNE and was told that I am perfectly healthy. Nothing to worry about.

And now Its almost time for my period to come. I have one bruise on my thigh againe..huhuhu!

Our trip to Vegas

It was Labor Day that we left for Vegas. I was wide awake around 3am. I can't seem to get a good sleep when I am traveling. I really don't know. I guess I'm just an excitable kind of a person. Anyway, by 5:1AM the shuttle van that my soon to be step father in law rented arrived in front of our house. We were on the road by 5:30am. Which was really good because we beat the traffic. When we got to the airport it wasn't crowded at all. We were checked in an hour and a half before our flight to Vegas. Good thing I booked the earliest flight because after 30 minutes of waiting for our flight, the airport was getting packed!

originally, we were supposed to be traveling by car but I decided that we flew because its the most convenient way. Also, I do highly recommend Southwest Airlines. I will give them a 5 star for great service. And the airfare is awesome.

On our first day in Vegas we were scheduled to watch Beatles Love Cirque Du Soleil. Man I tell you!!! It was the most amazing show I have ever seen. Though I have seen Mystere (another Cirque Du Soleil show) but I never thought of the Beatles as the greatest band ever. Before David and I watched the Beatles "Love" we didn't really appreciate the band that much. But after watching it I fell in love with the Beatles and so I bought their CD!hahaha. Its not allowed to take any photos or video of any kind when you are at the show but can't help it. I did. If its okay to you friends that I post just a clip of the show here please let me know.
