Friends for keeps...

People tell me that i am very nice but the truth is...not so true that i'm nice hahaha. Well, i should say that i'm friendly most of the time. I could tell by the aura of one person either he/she is nice or not. There are some people that has this high and mighty attitude which is i don't really like. I'm not fond of pushing around people especially friends and family.
An occasion to remember that i have to share with my friends as well. One of my longtime bestfriend Lotte-lotte got married in Vegas. Of course, i went and witnessed her sacred union with her husband. Take note..this friend of mine is just as goofy as i am. She would tell me that i'm her Idol...(got me thinking?) what for?..hahaha. I'm her idol because i married an american guy..geesh! See how goofy she is. A day before her wedding, I've asked her. If i didn't marry an American guy (my husband now), would you do the same thing? and the answer was YES, I wouldn't. It was kinda flattering to me knowing that i was kinda like her mentor/Bad Influence hahaha. I never thought she'd be interested to marry a foreigner. She's like 19 days older than me but in reality, maturity wise..i'm older than this girl!! I just love her..she's something else. She's like my sister. After all, i've known her for almost 10 years! Wow! Imagine that..10 long years. We've been through many tough times... and she never cease to amaze me..the same girl i knew 10 years ago..
Oh and another thing. Lotte-lotte and I have this friend in Wisconsin and her name is Ana. Both lotte-lotte and I were very excited to meet her. Ana has been my online friend for 3 years. i've introduced Ana to lotte-lotte a year ago. Wow! seems time fly so fast..Is it a year already..geesh Anyway, this gal from wisconsin is like my sister too..big sister i should say..errr..i mean age wise..hahaha!! If we were together, i would seem to be the older one i guess..because i'm taller?hahaha..sorry sis..i'm not making fun of your height...forgive me.. :( But truth be told, she is absolutely beautiful!! No kidding. I mean like, she looks like me!..hehehe. Really, she is very beautiful inside and out. A very humble person with a good sense of humor. Which i likey very much. Even David agreed to me that i have the most interesting friends all over the world. And he only got to meet two of them.
Ana is such a loving person. A friend that you can always be proud of. She has been always like that. Very generous as well. I promise, i will never change. I'll always be sexy..err..nice also hehehe.
I love you guys!!! I miss you all so much!

Fun time...

It has been raining for the last couple of weeks. It means it is cold and wet outside. Days like this gives me less mobility because of the coldness and dimmed weather outside. It is so nice to just lay on the couch and vegged out while watching Eat Bulaga...hehehe.
But today we had a break. It was a beautiful day today. We had so much sun and it feels like its summer na. My Papi decided that we ride around town with our Harley since the weather was nice and gives us reason to go out and have fun. This is the only means of leisure that we do because time and work doesn't permit us from going to weekend vacations.
While we were in the mountain area here in Morgan Hill, David and I saw a heard or a patch of Deers and wild turkey. I took some pictures while riding on the Harley. One time when David and I were on the other side of Morgan hill by the countryside, we saw a Bobcat. It was a baby Bobcat but the size was pretty decent. It could kill a man. I was little weary because David mentioned that probably the mommy was hiding behind the bushes and ready to attack. My mind was squandering around and thought of horrible things like it would jump on me, eat me alive and so forth...waah!! Scary but then i thought, i can't be scared all the time, that is where the fun is :)
Anyway, I hope you guys had a great weekend!

Kiss...

I like to cruise the net so much that i find alot of interesting stuff. Most specially friendster. You can see alot of different, weird, pretty, not so pretty and ordinary people all over the world. After i had sent David to work, I thought of cruising the net for awhile. Again, the next thing i know i'm checking my friendster account! LOL.. I came across a very pretty profile of a friend of mine and there was this video from YOU TUBE that was really worth watching. It touched my heart big time! It's a japanese music video. At first i was like..hhmmm..its ok. Then i got curious and just wanted to finish the video so i could move on and check other profiles. But wait!!..there's something about this video that is worth watching!
In the end of the video i cried. It was something that i had to put myself into the situation. David was told by his cardiologist that he has blocked artery and has to undergo surgery. When i saw this video it made me think, if David has to have a heart transplant, I'd give him my heart. If i have to give my life to him i will. I'd rather have him live than me living without him. After all if he had been into that situation I'm always gonna be with him. He has my heart. I love this man so much i will do anything for him. Sometimes i have my short comings but i try to make up for it. I got to think how lucky i am to have married such a wonderful man. Looking back 4 years ago, it seems like yesterday to me that david had asked my hand in marriage. Now, we are living happily together and just celebrated our 3rd year anniversary. Life is good and god is good! The good part of everything is that David doesn't have blocked artery and he's healthy as a horse!
I love you bigbear..i truly do..you know that :)

My first Auction...

Yesterday, David read somewhere on the newspaper about an estate auction. My papi then asked me if I'm interested to go and I said sure. The Auction happened today. We saw alot of artifacts from original paintings to manufactured ones. They even have Picasso's worth Sixty grand!! From the first look of it I thought it was a fake but later on when the bidding started, the auctioneer mentioned that the two Picasso they have are signed and dated! No wonder it was expensive.
David was eying on this huge bronze frog. It was about 4 ft tall standing, It was holding a bamboo basket on his right hand and on his left was this beautiful black crusted bronze umbrella. I should have taken a picture but as always I left my camera at home! Anyhow, i told Papi that his limit bid would be a thousand...and he agreed. We thought hhmm ok starting bid price would be $500. We were surprised when the auctioneer said $1000 for starting bid. I knew my Papi was heartbroken huhuhu. The frog was sold i think for $2,500. We can't afford that for now!
But we didn't went home empty handed of course! I got two Tiffany lamps!!! Yippee! Each lamp weighs about 250 lbs at the least. It is in perfect condition. No crack on the glasses and the stand is made of of bronze. When we got home my hubby said.."Well, there is your birthday present..and oh happy valentine's too!" Funny guy..hehehe
All in all it was a fun day for me and Papi. This coming summer we will be spending our time doing estate auctions... You never know..maybe i will find something worth a fortune!
Happy Valentine's Day!!

Houston we have a rooster!

I normally would wake up at 9am. But today i woke up extra early. I guess because I was a little bit excited about the Super Bowl. By the way, Colts is the champion!! Go Payton Manning Go! Also i had terrible headache last night. It was awful i couldn't sleep. I watched two movies to help me fall asleep. Good thing it did helped.
First thing i do when i wake up in the morning is check my email...and friendster..lol! It was 7:30am when i checked the time. After browsing the net for awhile cinnamon and coco was rattling their collar like crazy. That means they want to go out and pee-pee. So i got my coat and let the dogs out!
While standing outside freezing, I heard two consecutive crows from a rooster. It dawn on me that David had mentioned about our neighbor having a bunch of roosters in their backyard. It made me remember those early mornings that i spent with my dad in front of our porch and drink our coffee. Sometimes i would just drink my dad's coffee because his coffee taste better than mine. My Dad and I would just sit on that bamboo couch and just talk of things we would like to do. We would talk about our dreams and stuff. There was this guy selling pandesal early in the morning and my mom would tell me "Jet, tawaga ang pandesal unya palit bale ten pesos". I would yell at the guy "Pandesal!!! palit mi pan!"hehehe. Sigh, those were the days. But i wouldn't get tired reminiscing those moments. Those were memories of my past and looking back fulfill my being.
This summer I will try to wake up early every morning and listen to the roosters crow. I will have my chair on our front yard and just sit there and drink coffee. Just like those times that i shared with my dad : - )
I love you and miss you all! Dave and I will be there soon!

New Bloggy

Due to severe boredom, I have created another blog which i know i will not be able to update from time to time. I know..know.. I have all the time in my hands but sometimes i feel so lazy..duh!! I think it's the weather..hahaha. I feel like staying in bed the whole day while its drizzling outside.. :)

I'm kinda sad because one of my hubby's co-worker then commented on our recent photo that i look fat..huhuhu? Do i really look fat? I guess, since i have been indulging myself of eating icecream and sleeping for extra hours for the last 2 months. I need to exercise. My partner in crime also needs to exercise because he had gained back all the weight he lost a couple of months ago. Grrrrghh!! So much to do!!

With all these holiday rush going on! and i can't find caregivers that are available to work!! Nasaan na kayo?! hahaha. Kailangan ko po ng caregiver!!!

Oh well, that's all for now..wala kasi ako maisip eh..later!

Proud Tita

Finally!!! My sister Vanessa (my one and only sister) gave birth to a healthy baby girl last December 10, 2006 at 12:10pm. The baby weigh about 6 lbs. My sis told me that it was really painful. She started having cramps on her back around 5am on that same day. She thought its nothing serious. While a few hours had passed she then felt pain in her tummy. The pain would last for 30 seconds with an interval of every 5 minutes. Now the panicked started hehehe. My sister's water bag broke. She asked my mom when having white sticky discharge is a sign of her water bag being broken and my mom said yes. Before they went to the hospital, my mom made this ritual to my sister. My mom asked one of my cousin to get seven leaves of tuba-tuba. I don't know what's it called in english...hehehe. So, my mom had the leaves in a boiling water for a few minutes. Cooled it a little bit and transfered it in a potty or a bucket so my sis can sit on it for the ritual. This ritual is to help my sister deliver the baby fast and she won't have to go through that long labor. Anyway, my sis, Rolan and dad went to the hospital around 9:30am. My sis was sent to the delivery room around 10am and delivered the baby 12:10pm. I'm not sure if the ritual helped my sis but what the heck..nothing will be lost if you believe in them. I talked to my sis on the phone a few hours ago and i heard my little niece's cry. I was teary eyed because i really felt the joy that this little baby has given my family. We've been waiting for this and it finally happened. We have another addition to our family!! Yippee! How i wish i was there to see the baby..sa webcam na lang ko ani!hehehe.
Little info about this baby. My sister will name her after me and Dave. The reason why she's naming the baby after me and Dave is because i was there nine months ago. My sister claimed that i was the reason why she got pregnant because Joven (my nephew) wouldn't sleep with them instead Joven would sleep with me hehe. So for those exclusive nights that my sis and Bro in law had shared together..they procreate..LOL!!! I'm not really gonna go onto details because my sister will kill me!! hahahah!!
Alright! I want to congratulate my most beautiful sister and her loving hubby Rolan Suelto for their baby girl! This is the most wonderful gift that we have for christmas. A good way to be blessed is to have an innocent angel. I'm so proud of you two!! I couldn't be so happier :)
Oh by the way, our little angel's name is Davey Jet Suelto
I will definitely post pictures of our angel when i have the photos from my sis!
Everybody said that the baby looks really pretty. Taas kuno og ilong unya puti! hahaha. Dili daw lisngag! hay ambot na lang!! *giggles*

My Pet....

As usual I went to my wednesday breakfast meeting. Interacted with the members and exchanged business tips..that's what we do! As the saying goes "Dollars in your pocket" Anyway, MIL and I dropped off the poodles at the pet care for their grooming. I had told the lady that was in-charged that do not over clipped Coco's nails or hurt her because the last grooming that my puppy had was ( I'm not even sure if it was accident or they are just careless) that Coco had a big cut on her right eyelid. And my poor thing was crying constantly huhuhu. I was very furious! My thing is if you can't get it right then don't do it. I think a couple of years ago, coco was diagnosed to have cancer.(Ganun..lol) Few months before we took Coco to the Vet, I found numerous of lumps on her chest and some were scattered around her breasts. I told my David about this and he didn't really paid attention till he was petting coco and felt the lumps on her chest himself. Unfortunately, this time the lumps were bigger.
Coco has been with the family for about 10 years i believe. And she is a part of the family. Having those lumps in her chest gives her hard time breathing and when she eat, it should be small pieces or she would choke...poor thing :( So David and I together with MIL decided to have her taken to the Vet and do surgery on her. A few weeks of blood test, x-ray and what not she was under the knife. David and I were very nervous that she might die in the process of the surgery. The fact that she's not young anymore and very little might decrease her chance of surviving.
On her surgery day, David and I were there holding our hands together, hoping that it will be alright. She was in the OR for about 3 hours. We were told that the surgery would take at least an hour. It got us worried because 3 hours is not what we are told! And it would be horrible if she died. But later we were told that coco has waken up and was a little groggy. It was a relief hearing from the Vet that she was okay. The vet found out that her whole chest was covered with lumps and that he had to cut both of coco's sides so he'd be able to clean up the mess. I'm glad that coco survived this cancer thing and she's like a new born puppy. Full of life and joy.
If this would happen to a dog in the philippines, there is no possibility that it would survive. Either it will end up in the garbage or six feet under the ground. But here in the US is different. An animal is treated like a human being. If you abuse an animal whether a dog or a cat, you can go to jail. And if you kill a police dog, it is equivalent to killing a human being. That would be manslaughter and you can go to prison!!
Anyway, my point is, just like with your kid or anybody else, don't hurt the one i love because you've done so many things just to protect them. I don't like my puppies being hurt physically.
